The Royal Family

The Royal Family has been running on British television for over 40 years. It is has enchanted a nation with its gritty realistic portrayal of a modern day monarchy.

Thousands of tourist flock to the set of this television institution to view the opulent life style of this dysfunctional TV family.

It is perhaps the greatest compliment to the producers of the show that thousand of fans world-wide believe that the Royal family actually exist.

A perfect example of this was the hysterical scenes on the streets of the capital when leading character, Princess Diana was written out of the show after the shows producers refused her £1'000000 a show wage demand.

There have been 4 different Queens over the last forty
years. The appointment of sex change actor Simon Diamond is without doubt the most controversial appointment in the shows 40 year history.

The soaps plot lines Regularly hit the headlines in both the tabloid and broad sheet newspapers. In the recent episode when young Prince Harry was caught experimenting with a loaf of bread and a tub of margarine the press had a field day analysing the moral implications of the fall from grace of the cheeky little rascal.

The Cast

The Queen
Played by sex change actor Simon Diamond. Simon (72) lives in Essex with his partner Bruce and their Alsatian dog, Lucy.

The original Queen played by actress, Brenda Adnerd died in a freak horse riding accident in 1971, when her horse blew up after been fed Pot Noodles by a novice stable boy.

The Duke
Played by Jools Oasis the son of a Greek shipping magnet, he has played the part of the animal killing Duke for nearly 40 years.

Jools admits there are a lot of similarity's between him and the Duke. "I'm at my happiest when I'm taking out a rutting stag with my rifle." And like the Duke he's not overly keen on "Johnny Foreigner."  

The Prince
The part of Prince Charles is played by Warren Muttly. Warren got the part after the shows producers overheard him chatting up a rubber plant. 

Warren says that he is nothing like his character Charles. "On a Friday night when filming is finished for the week, I take off the false ears and head off down to the docks to chat up sailors." 

That Woman
Camilla played by Judy Wood Squatter was the least popular character 4 years running after replacing the irreplaceable Diana. 

J
udy's claim to fame before taking up the role of Camilla was her 1982 record breaking feat of holding a Winmau dart board on her left nipple for 5 minutes and 37 sec's.

The Mother
The part of the Queen Mother has for the last 8 years been played by diminutive stunt man Elvis Rodrigas. Elvis (32) has 8 children to 9 women. 

Elvis has to endure 3 hours of make up every day to play the part. The Queen Mother's face mask is manufactured from the scrotum and elbow skin of Blue Arsed Monkeys.
